This map was produced for the NSCC Applied Geomatics Research Group using ArcGIS  v10.5. The purpose of this map is to display the distribution and depths (m) of sechhi disk measurements from the Annapolis Basin collected in the 2015-2016 field season by the Clean Annapolis River Project (CARP).

Data were provided from CARP as an Excel file. The Excel table included date, time, weather conditions, site name, easting and northing and some attribute sampling information. It contained the necessary spatial information, however, was not yet mapped or presented in a spatial file format. Data was added to ArcGIS and exported as a spatial file with the correct coordinate system using the easting and northing. Data was symbolized, labelled and added to a map using cartographic standards to clearly present the information to the map user.
